Silesian Phoenix at three events in one week
In just a few days, our members visited three different venues where they presented our projects, inspired younger generations, and forged valuable connections. Simultaneous presentations took place in Poznań and Katowice, followed the next day by the opening of the new Industry Skills Center for Robotics in Wodzisław Śląski.
European Science Fair in Poznań
Between 2 and 4 June, the team exhibited Phoenix III at the European Science Fair held at the Poznań International Fair. Visitors had the opportunity to see the rover’s unique design and learn about the innovative material it employs. During the event, we held a series of substantive discussions, including with Deputy Minister Karolina Zioło-Pużyk from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, who expressed her appreciation for the progress of our project.
INTARG® 2025 in Katowice
At the same time, also from 2 to 4 June, the other half of the team showcased Phoenix I at the 18th International Fair of Inventions and Innovations INTARG® 2025 at the International Congress Center in Katowice. After a comprehensive renovation, the first prototype sprang back to life, drawing the attention of visitors and illustrating the history and evolution of our rovers. We were accompanied by friends from SKN High Flyers, with whom we jointly inspired the fair’s attendees.
Opening of the Industry Skills Center for Robotics
The very next day, on 5 June, we had the honor of participating in the inauguration of the new Industry Skills Center for Robotics in Wodzisław Śląski. This event was especially close to our hearts, as it directly concerned the field in which we operate. During the ceremony, we delivered a presentation on the development journey of Phoenix III—from the initial design assumptions all the way to the final prototype ready to compete in international contests.
Summary
We warmly thank everyone who visited our stands, asked questions, and shared their passion for technology. Thanks to your support, we can continually raise the bar and pursue ambitious goals. New challenges lie ahead—soon we will test Phoenix III in upcoming competitions, and Phoenix I will be prepared for further educational demonstrations.
