As a PhD student at the Department of Physicochemistry and Polymer Technology, I had the pleasure of participating in the OCTA project at the beginning of this year through an internship in New Zealand. I worked in the team of Prof. Jadranka Travaš-Sejdić together with MSc Eng. Magdalena Zawadzka and dr Eng. Sandra Pluczyk-Małek. The ongoing research at the School of Chemical Sciences focused on the study of conductive polymers. Currently, another 3 people went to New Zealand, to the same research center – MSc Eng. Patryk Janasik, MSc. Małgorzata Skorupa and Dr hab. Eng. Małgorzata Czichy. The next trainees will do an internship at the beginning of July in Brazil. These are just a few examples of how vigorously and fruitfully the OCTA project is being implemented. A significant number of researchers from our University had the opportunity to develop and gain experience by going on internships to the farthest corners of the world.
