We are delighted to announce that our colleague, Lukasz Czapura, a member of the Chemistry Students Research Society, has co-authored a scientific article that has been published in the prestigious journal Nano Research!

Publication title: "A universal approach for extraction of single-walled carbon nanotubes of specific chirality using aqueous two-phase extraction"

This paper presents a versatile method for the extraction of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) with specific chirality using aqueous two-phase extraction. This research represents an important step towards the selective isolation of SWCNTs, which is crucial for their applications in nanotechnology and electronics.

The work took as long as 1.5 years to complete, as we encountered several complications during the course of the research that affected the subject matter. However, by resolving them, we were able to produce a much more comprehensive paper than we had anticipated at the outset. The most difficult and time-consuming part was processing the results. There was a multitude of them and we had to sort them well in order not to get lost. Working in such an amazing team as Prof Janas' FNano is extremely developing. I would like to thank all the co-authors of the publication for working together and hopefully not last. Every hour spent in the lab with such people is one of a kind. This publication motivates me to continue working and searching for innovative solutions in the field of nanotechnology.’ - comments Lukasz

This publication is proof of the high scientific level of our Circle members and an inspiration for the entire student community. We congratulate Lukasz and wish him further success in his scientific career!
