A A+ A++

On 3 November 2023 at our Faculty we had the opportunity to host young guests from Primary School No. 19 from Świętochłowice. At the beginning, the students were introduced to the basic rules of behavior in the laboratory, after which they went to the workshop.

The classes were led by Maciej Gdala, Filip Wojtas, Mateusz Pilszek, Janusz Pryciuk, Mateusz Zygadło and Mgr. Anna Byczek-Wyrostek. During the workshop, small explorers made an explosion of volcanoes or colored glutes that they took with them.

During the show, children could get acquainted with liquid nitrogen, see the "locomotive" or change colors after adding pH indicators to the appropriate solutions.

"The children were fascinated by everything that happened during the classes. Their incredible commitment and discipline during the workshop deserve a medal. The biggest difficulty was pronouncing the name "potassium permanganate", which was called "the essence of the cloud":)" - comments one of the leading students, Maciej Gdala

Thank you very much for visiting the students and educator and we hope that through our workshops we aroused curiosity in the youngest with the beautiful science, which is chemistry!
