Both groups were interested and engaged in classes on a rather poorly discussed subject in schools, which is electrochemistry. As part of our classes, the main focus was on electroplating cells, which may appear in a few months at the final exam. Although electrolysis and corrosion is not required for the final exam, we decided to show these processes live. We hope that after these classes, we aroused the students' curiosity about the chemistry department, which uses electricity and the reactions that occur under its influence. - comments one of the lecturers, Maciej Gdala.
Thank you very much to the students and teachers for visiting us. We hope to see you at the next class in March. In addition, we would like to thank the members of Electrochemistry Group for lending the necessary equipment and for suggestions for conducting the classes 🙂
