On March 11, 2024, our representatives: Mateusz Pilszek, Miłosz Kucharski, Maciej Gdala, Filip Wojtas, Mateusz Zygadło and Mgr. Marianna Kostina-Bednarz had the pleasure to represent the society and the Faculty of Chemistry at the Engineering Fair of Jobs, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Accessibility. The whole event took place at the Sports Centre of Silesian University of Technology, where at the peak hours there were a lot of people.
At our stand we talked about the activities of the Society and about studying at the Faculty of Chemistry. In addition, there were many spectacular reactions, ranging from the popular "locomotive" to the Yamada hand and the iodine clock. Any person at the end of the day could take the department stuff with them.

Also on the same day, at 16:00, the General Meeting of our Society began. Despite the Fair, there was a record number of members 😉
During the Meeting, the Board presented the structure and activities of the Society and answered questions from the audience. In addition, members were encouraged to participate in popular science events and were told about the upcoming Chemicals 2024 - details of which will be announced soon.
