A A+ A++

The turn of May and June is an extremely intense period for students and staff, full of conferences and delegations.

This year our students had the opportunity to take part in two different conferences.

Adrianna Wierzbicka represented the Faculty of Chemistry at the European Conference "8th European Process Intensification", which took place at the Warsaw University of Technology on 31. 05-02. 06. It was an excellent opportunity to exchange views and experience on new technologies. The participants of the conference had the opportunity to develop their presentation skills and establish new contacts in the scientific community.

During the conference there were lectures and 2 poster sessions, where Ada could present her poster about a new type of StatBioChem reactor with a stationary catalyst bed.

"The conference was interesting because it was attended by people from all over the world, not only from Europe. It was also worth taking a walk in your free time around the center of Warsaw. I really liked the mural "Girls at the Technical University" 😀" - comments the student.

Trip financed by the program "Najlepsi z najlepszych 4.0"

In addition, a group of our students, consisting of: Laura Hałasek, Weronika Budzińska-Lipka, Paulina Bętkowska, Mateusz Zygadło and Michał Nowotarski, had the opportunity to participate in the Conference "Młodzi zdolni" at the University of Lodz, which took place 02.06. The conference was an excellent place to present their scientific research from different branches of chemistry. Our students presented their work at a poster session and had the opportunity to exchange ideas with other scientists and researchers.

The trip was financed as part of the PBL project "Preparation and characterization of a polymer matrix with chitosan nanofibers as a filler for biodegradable film produced by electro-spinning".

The presence of our students at these two conferences testifies to the high quality of their scientific work and their commitment to the development of their fields. We are delighted that our students have had such opportunities and hope they will benefit them much both now and in the future.
