Children’s Day for our Society members this year was very busy. In the morning we had the pleasure to visit the youngest students - preschoolers from the group of Squirrels from Kindergarten at Primary School No. 13. K. Bochenek in Gliwice as part of the award within one of the competition in the program "PoliPrzedszkole będę inżynierem" organized by the Center for Popularization of Science of the Silesian University of Technology.
The delegation consists of: Natalia Siodłak, Julia Bordy, Julia Targosz and the Supervisor of the Society - MSc Eng. Anna Byczek-Wyrostek made a show, where all color changes - according to children - were real magic!
In addition, small engineers were able to make magic glutes and a lava lamp during the workshop!
"A group of children was very interested in the show - with every change of color you could see in their eyes great admiration and delight. During the workshops they asked us a lot of questions, some of which were difficult for us to answer in a simple and understandable language. Every child was very involved, where masterpieces created by them gave them a lot of joy" - comment the students.

But it wasn't over! In the afternoon, a second delegation consisting of: Agnieszka Kicińska, Hubert Knap, Magdalena Radwan, Klaudi Szatan and Patryk Szpitalny at the request of TEB Education in Gliwice organised demonstrations as part of the Open Day.
During the shows, our members performed glutes and the effects of "burning hands".
At 3 p. m. the biggest show took place, where in addition to boobs and "burning hands", a large "locomotive", "burning caramel" and "greedy copper" were made.
