What is affiliation?
Affiliation is the designation of a scientific unit as a place of conducting scientific research, the RESULTS of which FORM the basis of the papers published. Affiliation is made by the author of the papers published by placing the name of the research unit next to his or her name in the papers published. The decisive issue is the correct determination of affiliation in the article – it depends on it whether the researcher’s achievements are correctly attributed to the university and whether they are evaluated.
How do I correctly specify my affiliation if I am a member of the Society?
Our affiliation in English is as follows:
Chemistry Students Research Society, Faculty of Chemistry, Silesian University of Technology, M. Strzody Str 9, 44-100 Gliwice, Poland
in polish:
Studenckie Koło Naukowe Chemików, Wydział Chemiczny, Politechnika Śląska, ul. M.Strzody 9, 44-100 Gliwice, Polska

If you have any questions about membership, you may contact the Research Section Coordinator or any of theSociety’s Trustees.
