The Silesian Science Festival is over!
It was full of knowledge, talks and... colours? YES!
The past popular science lecture turned out to be a real feast for the eyes and the mind. Gathered science lovers were invited on a fascinating journey through the world of light and colours. The speakers, i.e. our irreplaceable Ms Ania and Filip Wojtas, passionately explained the intricacies of these phenomena and dispelled any doubts concerning the nature of colours.
During the meeting, participants learned that light is much more than what we see every day. The presentation explained step by step how the colour spectrum is created, why different objects have different colours. The answers to questions about the colours of chemical compounds were extremely interesting.
The biggest highlight of the evening was the spectacular demonstrations that wowed the audience. Changing colours, unexpected effects and colourful experiments made the lecture not only informative but also extremely spectacular.
Thanks to this event, participants not only broadened their knowledge, but also found out that science can not only be fascinating, but also extremely entertaining.
