On 19 June the workshop was held at the High School im. S. Staszica in Tarnowskie Gory. Recently, a delegation of ChSRS composed of Natalia Siodłak, Agnieszka Kicińska and Hubert Knap visited the last school this school year. The visit was very special because despite the approaching end of the school year, classes 3e and 3d came practically whole!
“The students were keenly interested in the stories and student life and the development opportunities offered by the Faculty of Chemistry of the Silesian University of Technology. There were a lot of questions about additional activities in the form of courses, Research Society or the realization of own research work, which has always been a characteristic element of the student community “Stasia”. That they want to take part in additional initiatives. It was nice to come back to the old walls, where I was shown what chemistry really is and what paths it offers, and we hope we managed to show it to future students too! Of course, this is not our last visit to Staszic!”- comments graduate, Hubert Knap
We were very pleased to be able to conduct the workshop in such a wonderful atmosphere. We hope to see you in September. And what will happen then you will find out soon. . . With this visit we close the workshop season. Thank you to all schools for your hospitality! We hope that we have managed to encourage, at least some, to consider our university as the perfect place to study, while passing on chemical curiosities.
