Chemistry Students Research Society Faculty of Chemistry

On 29 January 2025, our Faculty once again hosted students from the Academic High School in Gliwice. Our team consisted of freshmen engineers Mateusz Pilszek, Janusz Pryciak and Maciej Gdala. We should not forget Hubert Knap, who, as an engineer ‘with longer experience’, also co-taught a class on the reaction of chromium and manganese, as well as PhD eng. Anna Byczek-Wyrostek, who was the class supervisor. It should be mentioned that, from year to year, it is most difficult to remember the colours of the given oxidation degrees for these elements. In addition, the pupils also learned about reactions with copper 🙂
