Silesian Phoenix We just make rovers!

Phoenix II is the second mobile robotic platform developed by students of the Silesian Phoenix team. Compared to its predecessor, the rover has undergone a major upgrade, becoming an even more advanced research unit inspired by technologies used in NASA missions.

The rover has been equipped with a state-of-the-art rocker-bogie chassis, which provides excellent mobility in difficult terrain. It also uses a redesigned robotic arm with 5 degrees of freedom, which increases the precision of the operations performed. An industrial PLC is used as the main computing unit, which has increased the reliability and efficiency of control. One of the most important elements of Phoenix II is a new soil sampling system, part of which has been patented and is protected by a Polish patent.

Phoenix II qualified for the prestigious European Rover Challenge 2019, where it placed 24th in competition with the best teams from around the world.

Through continuous development and implementation of innovative solutions, Silesian Phoenix is strengthening its position in the field of exploratory robotics, creating projects that inspire the next generation of engineers.
