Recruitment
Silesian Phoenix is a dynamically growing Students' Scientific Association, where we design, build, and program mobile robotic exploration platforms – known as Mars rovers. Our robots compete in prestigious international competitions, and we gain valuable experience that opens doors to careers in robotics, programming, and engineering.
Do you want to go beyond just theory from your studies? Join us and develop your skills through real experience!
Who are we looking for?
Passionate and motivated students – regardless of their field of study or university. If you're interested in robotics, programming, electronics, mechanics, artificial intelligence, or project management, you’ll find your place with us!
What will you gain?
✅ The opportunity to participate in international competitions and prestigious contests
✅ Work on real engineering projects
✅ Scientific publications and a chance for academic development
✅ Practical skills highly valued in the job market
✅ A team-oriented, friendly environment
✅ An adventure you’ll remember for a lifetime!

Mechanical Section
Responsible for designing and constructing the rover’s structure, including its drive system and mechanical mechanisms. Members work with CAD software (3DExperience, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS), manufacture components using 3D printing and CNC machining, and have the opportunity to obtain certifications in mechanical design while gaining experience in developing real-world engineering solutions.

Software Development Section
Responsible for the rover’s software, developing control algorithms, data processing, and AI-based solutions. Members program in Python, C++, and NodeJS, utilize the GIT version control system, and create algorithms for data analysis and autonomous robot operation.

Electronic Section
Develops and maintains the rover’s control and power systems. Designs printed circuit boards (PCBs), secures electrical systems, and programs STM32 microcontrollers. Members work with Altium Designer and CATIA, create electrical schematics, and develop electronic solutions integrated with the rest of the system.

Science Section
Plans scientific missions and experiments conducted by the rover. Develops research methodologies, conducts laboratory experiments, and consults solutions with other sections. Members have access to state-of-the-art laboratories and collaborate with experts in natural sciences and engineering.

Marketing Section
Manages the association’s public image, promotional activities, and sponsorship acquisition. Creates marketing materials, organizes events, and communicates with partners. Members work on marketing strategies, graphic design projects, and external communication, gaining experience in running professional promotional campaigns.
