The first tests of single-wire power transmission were successfully completed!

For the preliminary tests of single-wire power transmission, a 150-meter line was installed at the KD Barbara site in Mikołów. The line was supplied with high-frequency alternating voltage using a resonant inverter developed within the completed HEET II project. At the other end of the line, a rectifier and resistors were installed, operating as the load. The tests aimed to verify the feasibility of transmitting power through a single conductor, with the ground acting as the return path.

During the initial tests, an energy transmission efficiency of 90% was achieved. Measurements will be continued to further increase the power and efficiency of the system.
