INVITATION
to join the meeting and the Silesian EURAXESS Network
On behalf of the project team running the following project: “Establishment of the Silesian EURAXESS Network supporting career development and mobility of researchers in order to enhance the international competitiveness of Polish higher education and research institutions,” implemented under the programme of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), we are pleased to invite you to participate in Meeting inaugurating the operation of the Silesian EURAXESS Network – a new regional cooperation platform dedicated to supporting researchers’ career development and mobility.
The purpose of the meeting is to present the general concept of EURAXESS, the project’s objectives, and to initiate dialogue among institutions that together form an ecosystem supporting research staff – both at the regional and international levels.
During the meeting, we will address the following topics:
- How to effectively support researchers’ mobility – both national and international?
- What are the most common challenges in researchers’ career development and how can they be addressed within established systems and frameworks?
- How can research, governmental, and administrative institutions cooperate to attract and retain talents?
- How does EURAXESS support researchers and institutions in areas such as recruitment, integration, inclusion, legal and administrative matters, and career planning?
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for:
- exchange of experiences and good practices,
- identification of key regional challenges and needs,
- inviting your institution to become an active member of the Silesian EURAXESS Network – an institutional cooperation network promoting attractive working and development conditions for researchers in the region.
The Silesian EURAXESS Network is addressed to representatives of:
- research and development units and higher education institutions,
- public administration (city offices, the Voivodeship Office, metropolitan institutions),
- institutions supporting regional development, innovation, and internationalisation.
We believe that your experience and perspective will constitute a valuable contribution to building a strong, partnership-based cooperation network for the benefit of science and regional development.
At the same time, we invite your esteemed institution to establish cooperation within the regional EURAXESS network for the Silesian Voivodeship by expressing your will through in declaration of accession to the network, the draft of which is enclosed with this correspondence.
