Events

We invite the academic community to take part in the Researchers’ Night of the Silesian University of Technology on October 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, in university campuses: in Gliwice, Zabrze, Katowice, and Rybnik. This is the largest popular science event organized in our university, and this year it will be held under the slogan “Science flows from good sources!”. The program includes more than 200 popular science activities addressed to all audiences (children, youth, and adults), as well as additional attractions such as concerts, a field game, a fire show, and partner stands.

This year we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Researchers’ Night. On this occasion, at 7:00 PM in the SUT Staff Club, there will be an evening of memories and a meeting with Prof. Jerzy Rutkowski, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation in 2008–2012 and the initiator of the event. Registration is required for this meeting – please note: the number of places is limited.

From October 1, participants will be able to create an account and register for workshops on the website: www.nocnaukowcow.com.pl. The list of workshops and other activities will be available in the “Compose Your Night” section. In order to attend the event, participants must download a free entry ticket (“Download Ticket”).
