Scientific seminar “Silesian University of Technology for Biomedicine”
On the 5th of May 2025, from 10:15 to 12:30, the Silesian University of Technology will host a scientific seminar entitled “Silesian University of Technology for Biomedicine” with the participation of the Nobel Prize winner Victor R. Ambros.
The seminar is an event accompanying the ceremony of awarding the doctorate honoris causa to this outstanding scientist. The event will take place in the Hall of the Biotechnology Centre of the Silesian University of Technology at 8, Bolesława Krzywoustego Street in Gliwice.
During the seminar, scientists of the Silesian University of Technology will share their research results and present projects that are implemented at the University and concern broadly understood biomedicine. The plan includes presentations on computational oncology, the scope of activities of the Biotechnology Centre and molecular diagnostic tests.
