The PRECOP conference
In just a week, the PRECOP conference will take place, during which experts from all over the world will discuss the global challenges related to climate change. The event will be attended by scientists from the Silesian University of Technology.
On October 2nd and 3rd, Katowice will become the arena of key discussions about the future of our planet. The third edition of THE PRECOP conference, organized ahead of the UN COP29 climate summit, will bring together international experts, political leaders, business representatives and activists. During the two days of debates at the International Congress Centre, participants will look for answers to the most pressing questions about energy transition, sustainable development, and the fight against climate change.
This year’s event is a place for exchange of experience, as well as a platform for developing concrete solutions, which will be collected in the form of a White Paper and transferred during COP29 in Baku. During the two-day conference, participants will be able to take part in nearly thirty discussion panels devoted to the most important climate topics.
The event will be attended by representatives from the Silesian University of Technology.
