The Silesian University of Technology invites you to the Future Transport Week
From June 17th, 2024, the Future Transport Week will be held, another of the Science Weeks in the European City of Science Katowice 2024.
Future Transport Week will be an attempt to share the passion for modern means of transport by scientists from the Silesian University of Technology and an opportunity to learn about solutions in road, rail and air transport. Events as part of the Future Transport Week will take place primarily at the Faculty of Transport and Aviation Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology at Krasińskiego Street in Katowice.
The aim of the organized events is to encourage participants to delve into the world of science and research for the development of modern, ecological and safe transport.
Participants of the Week's events will have the opportunity to practice on railway and aviation simulators, get acquainted with 4WD mobile robots, and see aircraft and drone demonstrations. There will also be discussions on the use of hydrogen in transport and modern safety systems used in various types of vehicles.
