The 17^th edition of the International Trade Fair for Inventions and Innovation INTARG®2024 is coming soon. The event will take place on 21^st -23^rd May 2024 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice. During the previous edition of the event, scientists from the Silesian University of Technology won many awards, including the Platinum Award of the Fair.

The INTARG® Fair is one of the most renowned international events presenting and promoting inventions and innovations. This event is dedicated to the presentation of the potential and achievements of technological thought and science, i.e. inventions, technologies and services addressed to industry. They are supported by valued Polish and international institutions
 and organizations.

The leading objective of the Fair is the promotion and commercialization of inventions and innovations, and technology transfer. They provide a platform for cooperation between scientific circles and business and offer assistance in obtaining funds for development based on innovation and new technologies. The program of the fair will include, among others: competitions, discussion panels, the ceremonial inauguration, and the final gala of awarding the highest-ranking awards with a rich artistic setting.

The Silesian University of Technology is the Content Partner of the fair. Participation in the event is coordinated by the Centre for Incubation and Technology Transfer of the Silesian University of Technology, which organizes during the fair a discussion panel entitled “Technology transfer in universities. Green transformation of Silesia.” During the Fair, on 22^nd -23^rd May, at the stand of the European City of Science Katowice 2024, a CITT board game “Science is the business of tomorrow!” is planned, in which prizes will also be given.

Participation in the fair is free of charge.
