Lecture of prof. Jean Roncali entitled „Design of functional π-conjugated systems for advanced applications”
We have a pleasure to announce a guest lecture of prof. Jean Roncali entitled „Design of functional π-conjugated systems for advanced applications”, which will be given at the Faculty of Chemistry Council Hall (M. Strzody 9, 205), on Tuesday, 21st March, at 11:00 am.
Prof. Roncali used to be a Research Director of CNRS-University of Angers in France, and currently holds a position of Associate Professor at the University Babes Bolyai in Romania. His main scientific interests include the design and synthesis of functional π-conjugated systems for electrode materials, self-organized nanostructures, molecular electronics, organic semi-conductors, OFETs, OLEDs, and solar cells. Prof. Roncali is a co-author of more than 350 scientific papers cited more than 30 000 times (H = 79), 22 patents, as well as 185 conference proceedings.
The visit was financed as a part of the implementation of tasks in the pro-quality program dealing with investments in the development of internationalization with the funds of the Excellence Initiative - Research University program.
