Events

Popular science lectures, laboratory classes, but also a picnic and a volleyball match - are in the program of Silesian Biotechnology Days Bakcyl 2022. The two-day event will begin on Thursday and is organized by the Student Scientific Circle of Biotechnologists.
The event will begin on Thursday, June 2 with a picnic on the Needle Meadow. Later, there will be time for a volleyball match of Leaders vs Students. Other events will include an inter-year meeting and a party in the Spiral.

On Friday, popular science lectures, aimed at high school students, will be held in Hall B of the Education and Congress Center from the morning. They will be conducted by: Danuta Gillner, Ph.D., Professor of Silesia; Andrzej Swierniak, Ph.D.; Anna Byczek-Wyrostek, M.Sc. and Aleksandra Ziembińska-Buczyńska, Ph. They will talk, among others, about microorganisms, supermicrobes and bioprinting.

The last point is the laboratory classes at the Center for Biotechnology, conducted by Małgorzata Adamiec-Organiściok M.Sc. and Filip Gamoń M.Sc. Registration is mandatory.
