On 10 June 2022, at the Faculty of Materials Science, Silesian University of Technology in Katowice, Krasińskiego Street 8, the first scientific and technical seminar "Hydrogen - Energy of the 21st century" is organized. The idea of this seminar is based on an inter-environment meeting of science, industry and organizations related to hydrogen. Hydrogen is the main protagonist of this seminar in all its colors and shades, both as an element of modern hydrogen management in the investment chain - production - storage - application, but also as an element which has a significant impact on the properties of materials and on the course of technological processes, both positive and negative.

The seminar is held under the auspices of the Materials Engineering and Metallurgy Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Polish Society for Materials Science, the Polish Welding Society, the Polish Stereological Society and the Industrial Development Agency - Katowice Branch. The media patronage over the seminar covered the Portal h2poland.eu.

The seminar papers will be delivered by experts in hydrogen issues from Industrial Development Agency Branch, the Board of Directors of Silesian-Malopolska Hydrogen Valley, Office of Technical Inspection (Katowice branch), Łukasiewicz Research Network - Electrotechnical Institute (Hydrogen and Superconducting Technologies Research Group), Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy and universities: AGH University of Science and Technology, Gdansk University of Technology, Military University of Technology and Silesian University of Technology.
Participation in the seminar is free of charge. Participants will receive a certificate of participation in the seminar on the day of the meeting.
